Debt ceil·ing?

Noun.

"An upper limit set on the amount of money that a government may borrow."

This is where our government routinely raises their own credit card limit to borrow-spend more money rather than living within their means and to avoid the rhetorical political GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN bllsht.

The problem is there is NEVER an upper limit to how much they can raise the USA government's credit line. They do this for accounting purposes to show how they have "balanced" their books when actually they are way over their head in DEBT.

YOU, can't max out your credit card and keep having the credit card company raise your credit limit so you can borrow-spend more. At some point they cut you off.

Moral of this story: It's good to be King.

Government says, "Do as I say, NOT as I do!"
