Proposed 28th Constitutional Amendment:

Override The Supreme Court

We are told our government has three (3) co-equal branches.

The Executive (President); The Legislative (Congress); and The Judicial (Supreme Court).

The President can veto the Legislative branch, the Legislature can override a Presidential veto with a 2/3 majority.

BUT, nobody overrules the Supreme Court.

Their rulings are allowed to stand as the absolute law of the land regardless of voter approval, legislative intent or Presidential aversion.

THIS IS WRONG and UN-American.

The nine (9) old lawyers on the Supreme Court should be held accountable and be overruled with 2/3 majority of the House and 2/3 majority of the Senate, AND with a Presidential signature.

Did you get THAT? 2/3 of the House of Representatives AND 2/3 of the Senate AND the President all agree that the Supreme Court has got it WRONG and we're NOT doing it their way!

For FAR too long we have been giving way too much power to the Supreme Court and to radical, liberal Federal Judges and their socialist agendas.

My 2 cents.

I totally agree with you! I studied this problem for my professional dissertation writing and I can say, that everything you said is right. We really need to manage our system, that way, there is no one and only unconditionally power. It is not democratic and is wrong on so many levels.
